Ada amazonia depth

Hey guys, just wondering how much Amazonia I need to get 3in+ in a 20 gallon long. I was thinking a 9liter bag would be good??
Thanks!

That won't give you three inches. A little less than two.

You'll want to pick up two bags because you'll need about 17.5 liters (4.5ish gallons) of Aquasoil to reach a three inch depth. You'll have some left over for other projects.

You need 2 at least if you dont add anything to the lower substrate like the power sand. I had mine up with a good 2 bags in mine plus some other substrate underneath.

Are you adding slopes or are you planning to run 3" worth of flat substrate. Do you want 100% aquasoil or are you okay with layering. Layering with something underneath the substrate such as lava rocks, can save money and allows you to use less substrate. It really boils down to what are you trying to accomplish.
