How much ADA Aqua Soil in a 100g tank?

Hello,

How much ADA Aqua Soil would I need in my 4x2x2 (100g approx) tank.

I live in Sydney Australia and a 9 litre bag of ADA Aqua Soil Amazonia cost US$48 (AUS$63). Money is not a huge issue if the ADA product is as good as it is as advertised.

Also, do I need the Power Soil as is recommended over here?

Any help would be appreciated,

Dave.

I used 8 bags in a 120g tank but if you look at their web site it will tell you what's recommnded.

Here's a link to that page.

As far as the Power sand goes - some say use it - some say don't use it - some say if your not going to dose the water column on a regular basis (such as EI) then use it but if you are then there's no need for it.

I think I would agree with the last opinion.

Without a doubt the AS is worth it, plants grow better, it's easier to plant in and it looks better in my opinion.
