Dolomite question

I recently bought dolomite from aquariumfertilizers.com and when it arrived I noticed it was powdered, even after clarifying with the site. Will this work for mineralized topsoil? Or should I put it in caplets like we do with osmocote?

Just wondering because I thought it was supposed to be more of a rock form

mix it in with the topsoil. it will do the deed just fine like that
stir it up really well in decent amounts. mix with small amounts of water, and then test the soil ph and get it to the ph you desire
