Eco Complete Price

Yesterday I was in a larger city of Iowa. I stoped by a local store that I visit about once a month since it is a 4 hour drive but I also have a Dr. Appt. there. So I go in the LFS and seen they had 20lbs bags of Eco Complete I was like good deal I might pick up a couple bags. Then as I look at the price $39.99 OMG $40 a bag. Am I a little off there or is the price jacked up a tad bit? I did not buy any, I would of if it was in the $20 - $25 range though.

You said local store, so I am suprised at your suprise at the price!

A lot of these small shops just can't manage to offer product at the lower prices a lot of the big box vendors can.

Hey! There is a small local shop in an affluent area of Bergen County, NJ, that sells ADA products. They offer a 9 litre bag of ADA Aqua Soil for $60! You can buy two bags from ADG ( http://www.adgshop.com/Aqua_Soil_s/21.htm ) for less and apply some of the rest of the price toward shipping!

Thank heaven for Jeff Senske and ADG!!!

Mike

Never really priced in before in a local store until friday. In Iowa the closest F'S that even sells Eco is over 4 hours away. Well the only place I seen that sold Eco anyways. But I know from a fact because I worked at a LS about Min's away while in college. I had access to all whole selling catalogs and in there the cost for lbs was $12 to $15 range. Shipping cost for anything ordered from allot of the whole sellers was nothing because they had there own truck and delivery route weekly.
This FS also had German Blue Rams for $18 a piece. Which I thought was a little high also. Last time I bought Rams was 8 years ago and they ran me $6 or so.

I bought mine from drfostersmith they don't charge by weight. It was like 22$ a bag and 15$ or so for shipping.
