Eco Comp question.

I'm taking out the sand from my 10G tanks and I'm going with Eco Comp. I have a light fish load so I'm not worried too much about the cycling and stuff. But I want to know how much of the Eco I need. I'm going to plant Wisteria, L. Repens, Glosso, Anacharis, and the floaters. 65W PC, DIY CO2 and Excel and Flourish. What would be an ideal substrate height? I have to bags for the 2 10G tanks.

I'm sooo tired of the sand. I was so in denial.

I have 2 bags in my 25 gallon with good depth so you might be alright with 1 bag in a 10g but if you put in 1 bag and fill that it isn't enough you could always just mix in some plain black gravel to make up the depth that you want and shouldn't have any problems.

I have three ten gallon tanks each with only one bag. Haven't had a problem growing any of the plant that you listed in it. It gives you a depth of about 3 inches.
