Fluval Plant Stratum v. Aquasoil?

Can anyone comment on which they like better and why? I know the Fluval Stratum is a bit cheaper, but not significantly so. I've heard the Stratum doesn't break down quite as much as the Aquasoil, but the growth is better with Aquasoil, but just wondering if those more familiar can chime in

I've used both. The fluval stops dropping the pH after about 6 months. The new aquasoil doesn't really "break down" as much as people think. If you're one of those people that can't keep from switching up your layouts every other week, go with the fluval. If you can carefully layout your plants and hardscape and leave it alone, go with the aquasoil.
