Aqua Soil New Amazonia Normal

i have ordered 3 bags of Aqua Soil - New Amazonia (9 liters) - Normal for my ADA 90p, the old soil i was going to use from my old tank, did not work so well, it was keep on breaking apart and making the tank looks dirty, i threw away that old stuff, while my plants are in trouble for now. hopefully the soil soil arrive soon.

my question is, what exactly is the main difference between the new soil vs the old one? i know the new one have both 1 and 2 Amazonia added to it. how about it turning into mud like the old one? any one out there who had the soil for couple of years??

I have all 3 generations of AS... The first one was the richest in nutrients, with the softest granules and appears to be the heaviest of the 3. Mine is slowly turning into mud.

I've had the latest one since it just came out (1+ years?) and the granules are the hardest, I do not see it breaking up at all and it's the lightest of the 3.

For what it's worth.

good to hear that it isn't breaking fast as the older one.
