Miracle Gro Organic Potting Mix with Litter?

I just wanted to know if it would be smart to use both MGO and clay cat litter together. I can't really see anything bad. It seems as though most people would go for one or the other, but why not both? Anybody have any idea of how it might turn out?

no reason the clay based cat litter could not be used for a capping material.

I wasn't quite thinking about using it as a cap but rather having it mixed in with the MGO that way the clay will benefit the plants in some way.

When I did my 125 (my 4th MGOPM tank) I put a layer of pure clay kitty litter as the base layer, then the MG and the cap. The tank is doing better than the previous 3. Coincidence or not, I don't know. But I will be using litter in my next two tanks too.
