Amazonia and ammonia

I know that aquasoil leaches ammonia into water, but I just don't know how much. What I want to do is use some in a couple pots for my pond. Any idea if a 2 or 3 small (maybe 4"-6") pots of it would cause an ammonia spike? The pond is just under 200 gallons with a 5 gallon bucket full of media and quite a few floating plants.

Thanks.

I'd say it would. I used 9L in my 95G when I first set it up since I was on the cheap side and the ammonia was completely off the charts for the first few weeks. With established media I'd say you still would have some sorta of spike maybe 2-3ppm
