Silica sand content help please

Evening All ( well it is here )

I'm currently looking round trying to find substrate for my Bolivian ram / cory tank which is currently 5mm gravel .

I can collect river sand as our rivers here in NZ are very clean esp in the head waters ?
Off my local beach , I have a good mate that has had it in his Pleco tank for about 5yr with no issue ?
Or my idea was white silica sand but the only one i can get here has a make up of :

Typical Chemical Analysis:
Silica 99.32%

Aluminium Oxide 0.16%

Ferric Oxide 0.07%

Calcium Oxide 0.10%

Sodium Oxide 0.02% Potasium Oxide 0.10%

Now I'm no science nut so I'm not sure if it is o.k to use ?
Any input would be appreciated.

P.S i can track down pool filter sand as most pool suppliers here are moving to a glass version

i used playsand for sand boxes you just have to make sure you clean it very well use a 5 gallon bucket 2 gallons of sand at a time rinse with a water hose sprayer till water runs clean (not dirty foam or dust is left ) also use your hands to stir up the sand it helps get it clean faster water may be cloudy in the tank for a bit but once its settled it worth it for sure and get some sandshifters to help move the sand around so you dont get trapped gases
