Black Diamond

I am planning in using black diamond grit with some Eco complete for a new tank. How thoroughly must I rinse the Black Diamond?

Thanks

The thing with black diamond is it's not very consistent from bag to bag. Some people have no problems, other have lots of problems.

It also depends on the size grit you get, too.

I just re-did a 40g breeder tank with Black Diamond. It was my first time using it and with so many others saying they didn't rinse, I hesitantly followed suit. No cloudiness! Mine is the 20/40 grit. Almost as fine as sand, but a tiny bit bigger.

I also got 20/40 I am going to roll the dice. Seems like it would be easier to scape dry.
