fluval stratum on top or bottom of eco-complete?

Im going to using both fluval stratum and either eco-complete or seachem flourite sand in my new 120. My question is, is it better to put the stratum on top or on the bottom?

I think the "best" is fluval stratum on bottom and flourite on top.
why: fluval has nutrients and flurite has high cec, so the flourite will absorb the nutrients from stratum.

But I always put fluval on top because I preffer the look.
