European Substrate feedback

Could anyone with any experience give me their feedback on Dennerle's DEPONIT-Mix. I am considering using this on my Rio 180 tank I'm about to set up but am unsure which substrate will suit my needs.

I look forward to a response.

That substrate is not available in the USA as far as I know. Send some to me and I"ll test it for you :P

I've been using Deponit for about 15 months now and I do get better growth than with just plain gravel. It is not a "stand-alone" substrate but goes under a layer of gravel.

The next time I redo my tank I will replace it with Flourite because I prefer the fact that its not an additive but a stand-alone substrate. No issue with re-landscaping or moving plants around.

Don't have Flourite around here though so I'll be ordering it from the UK. And no, I don't want to know what the shipping cost will be!
