Exclamation potting soil

has anyone have any experience with potting soil.. from like home-depot or something??? i was just wondering.

1) does it work better than regular substrate like eco complete?
2) do i need to do any thing special with it like.... mix it or clean it?? because i know eco complete doesnt need anything..
3) are there suggestions on what substrate or potting soil to use? im making a 160 planted tank.. with unknown fish ... freshwater.. with a sump..... and im not going to move the tank around alot.. maybe like maybe 2 times every 5 years....

i would like a potting soil or substrate that is...
easy to use..
and is good for aquariums...

THANKS !! any suggestions would help DD

Here you go...https://www.plantedtank.net/forums/su...substrate.html Just regular old potting soil needs to be slightly amended, then its fine.
