Arrow Good light substrate!!!

Hello,
I was wondering what a good, inexpensive, light colored substrate would be... I want it to look kinda like sand, but don't really want to use sand! I wont need more than 5lbs!
Thanks...

Pool filter sand.

A swimming pool product that was available several years ago: 3M Colorquartz. This was an additive to pool plaster that made the pool different colors. 3M is no longer making it. Go ask a swimming pool installer what is a similar material. Quartz. Different colors.
