Initial MTS questions

Do I need to fertalize my tank that has MTS just for the initial planting period until the roots can take hold?

Im already lighting it well and injecting it with high lvls of co2 because its fishless.

Man, this is going to turn into an argument. LOL.

Ok, there are some who claim that you can fertilize with no ill effects. There are some who claim that dosing is not needed since the nutrients are all there.

I am going to give you this with no further input: Aquarium health is whats important. If your plants are suffering, what should you do? If plants are thriving, why do more?

Whatever you do, be regimented. Keep up with your water changes for new setups. They help alot and always seem to keep the plants healthy and algae down.

Hows that for being Switzerland?

Fishless. Huge for new tank setups. Gives you alot of room to make mistakes, nuke the tank or really disrupt the water column and not have to worry about die off.
