PH rising with Fluval Stratum, anyone else?

I and few others are having a problem with Fluval Stratum! After being in our tanks for a few months now, we are all seeing a rise in PH levels.

I myself have 3 tanks which all now show different levels of PH...from 6.8 to 7.4. This seems to be the same problems as many of my friends are experiencing too.

Does anyone on this forum have the same problem with this soil? Why is it not buffering properly? Any answers or help would be appreciated as I do not wish to lose my newly hatched CRS babies to rising PH.

I just started using it yesterday. After 10 hours I went from more than 7.6 to now 7.0.

Its kept its low PH for well over 2 months now, but just recently I and a few others who have changed over our tanks to this product, have noticed severe PH fluctuations in our tanks. We all purchased this at around the same time, so most of the tanks are approx 2 months in operation. Fluctuations between PH 6.6-7.4 seem to be what everyone is experiencing. Water changes are all done on regular basis, yet we are having problems.

I have been using it for 2 months and I checked my ph because of your post. It is still 6.5 I use RO water for changes. My tap water is between 7.5 and 8.
