SUBSTRATE - CAN i LEAVE IT IN DRY TANK?

I originally posted this question in the "SUbSTRATE" forum but it did not generate a response. So, I'm hoping for a response here. I'm in the process of developing my hardscape (spiderwood and dragon stone) and I would like to add my substrate (Amazonia) in its original dry state to my tank in order to get a better idea of just how my hardscape is going to look sitting on the substrate. I won't be planting/getting the tank wet for a few more weeks. Will the substrate be ok left in this dry state?

Yes, it's in the dry state in the bag.

Thank you OVT, much appreciated.

I guess I mean will it be ok outside of the bag for a few weeks?

be very careful with placing the hardscape for getting a feeling of your layout the aquasoils are easily pulverized with the hardscape placement.

And the journey for a "high tech" tank begins
