Red Sea Substrate

Has anyone else had success with Red Sea Flora Substrate?

I'm somewhat having a difficult time growing my HC. Maybe it just does not grow that well in it?

Is it called Flora Base? I've used it before for about a year. I mostly had low light plants and they grew well but because I disturbed the substrate so much most of it turned to mush. I think it'll last longer if left alone.
