MTS- How much Potassium Chloride and Dolomite?

I have a 75G tank that I'm doing MTS with. How much Dolomite and Potash do you think I would need to get a decent layer suitable for a layout (48X18)

Remember, you don't mix those into the MTS. You just sprinkle them on the bare bottom of the tank before adding the MTS. I think the general rule is that you should still see the glass bottom through the layers of dolomite and potash. It isn't a layer, just a modification of the MTS at the bottom.

Thanks, I realize that you don't mix them.

I'm ordering off an online site that sells them in 16oz potash and 8oz dolomite. That would cost me only about 7$+shipping so I don't mind spending another 3$ for extra...

Can you post a link for the stuff your getting please? I'm planning on getting started on my MTS when it gets a little warmer, but I was unsure where to get that stuff. I would feel safer about buying the same as someone else so I know I'm getting the right stuff.

Not too get too off topic, but I've never seen why you can't use more potash if it is the one that always runs out first. I would guess that it just dissolves at the same rate so you end up with higher levels for the same short amount of time. I also am assuming there is no known slow releasing substitute you could use in larger quantities to avoid the potash dosing later.
