Question AZOO Vs Aqua Soil?

Which is yalls personal pref?

Are they both meant to be under another layer of substrate?

55g bearded dragon viv, 60g semi/tropical mix, 47g column schooling, & 10g planted with fish and RCS.

Both can be used as stand alone substrates. Not sure where you got the under-substrate info from. We have ADG in houston and they are opening up a storefront soon. You can also order for in-store pickup online.

edit: I've had some experience with used AS works great. But I've never had the heart to spend 60 bucks on some dirt.

What I meant was, like in my 10g i have caribsea substrate for plants then on top i have sand to cover it.

You don't need to do that with AS. But you can....

Azoo plant grower bed is essentially ADA amazonia I, but with less nitrogen and more iron.

I've had similarly great experiences with both and I can't honestly tell if one is better than the other.

You should probably just choose the one that you find has the most pleasing color.
