ADA powder: experiences? Can I grind normal to produce powder?

Hi all,

I am starting my 45p up soon. I was wondering if anyone has experience with ADA aquasoil amazonia powder. Does it seem like a silly idea to just grind some of the normal type to produce powder?

ADA 45p: coming soon

It's good for carpeting plants, which tend to have finer and shorter roots. Grinding up normal AS would just produce dust... I do not recommend it.

I have found that unless you have a huge tank just fill the thing all with powder type. Easier to plant carpets throughout.
