Is this stuff any good. I will be using black diamond blasting sand to top it off.

Hi Len B,

I believe it is a coir product and therefore organic which means it will break down over time. It is supposed to help avoid 'floaters' but BDBS is heavy enough it shouldn't be a problem keeping plants in place. I can tell you that if roots do get down into that stuff when you go to pull up a plant the entire mat may come up with it, especially with swordplants and cryptocorynes. I'd save my money if it were me.
