Question Eco Complete and root tabs?

Hello,
It's been a very long time since I've worked with an inert substrate and I am using Eco Complete in my tank at the moment. I have it planted and I'm wondering if I should go ahead and add root tabs to the substrate right away? Or should I give the plants a certain amount of time to settle in first?

add root tabs first, then plant.

itll juice up the soil with nutrients.

add liquid fertz together with root tabs for ultimate fertilization.

Guess it depends on the plants planted?

I'm not into the image, but into the hobby...
