Seachem Flourite for low tech planted tank?

Can I use seachem Flourite red or the original for a tank that I will be only have anubias in it? The reason I want to use Flourite is just I think they look awesome.

Yes, you can. Just be sure to rinse extremely well, it is a very dirty substrate.

Since they are rich in mineral composition so do they alter the ph or the hardness?

yeah rinse really well i found that out when i added it to my new tank but once settled all is good and looks great

Flourite does not change water's parameters. You only need to rinse it the first time you use it.

You can always rinse again when you reuse it, if you want to remove organic matter that accumulates over time for example.

I want to replace the substrate with the flourite red because the current ones I have keep on raising the ph but well this tank had been setup for just a month old.
