Eco-complete and ADA Aqua soil amazonia?

Hi, would i get a major spike in ammonia if i use a 3LITRE bag of ada aqua soil in the bottom layer of my 29G and for second layer eco complete

Also because im only using 1 bag of aquasoil could i keep my fish in the tank and do a couple of big water changes a week?

I wouldn't recomend it. I used Aqua soil and my ammonia was way off the charts with daily water changes for 2 weeks.
