Anaerobic Sand Please Help

Hello, I have bought most of the things for the 120-gallon tank I will be setting up. I will be having a 1.5" layer of organic dirt and then areas from 1" to 6" of pool filter sand. I have already bought the sand and the dirt and today I read that the sand could become anaerobic. Would that be a problem? The tank will be a low tech highly planted tank. I have read about the MTS but do not want them as they can reproduce out of control. Please let me know if there is a problem and if there is a solution to it. Thank you very much.

I would want 2 to 3 inches of dirt ( some settling to occur) and maybe three inches of sand as cap.
Want to make sure that plant root's make contact with the dirt,so not too deep of a cap.
With good filtration/movement of water, and moderate to heavy planting, anaerobic areas are of little concern.
Plant's have the ability to transport oxygen to areas around their root's which makes anaerobic condition's much less of a worry.
Sulfide gas also rendered harmless once it make contact with oxygen in the water.
Please proceed.
