Question for Amazonia users

Is it ok to leave it out in the open for 1-2 weeks while I finish my scape and look for plants?

Also, if I'm going to do a mainly crypt / anubias type tank, should I plant initially or let the ammonia cycle through first?

big time

Leaving it out that long is not an issue.

As far as do you plant before itís cycled or not there have been so many threads about this. Long story short yes itís absolutely fine to plant while the soil is still cycling. The plants in my experience do not mind the ammonia at all. I always cycle tanks while adding 3ppm ammonia with plants in the tank and they thrive.

Do you know the water change schedule when first introducing the soil? I see some say daily water changes for the first week, every other day the second week, etc.
