Eco Complete and CO2

In conjunction with my other thread, I just swaped out a tank from pool filter sand to Eco Complete for Planted Aquariums. Now in all my planted tanks, I run DIY CO2. I'm wondering with this "special" substrate, if it will be needed?

What are your guys' thoughts?

Thx.

Eco will be adding extra ferts to your tank. If anything, you're going to want to increase CO2, or you'll probably just be feeding algae with the Eco.

No matter what, if you haven't changed your lighting, then you definitely want to keep the CO2.
