JBL Sansibar or Dennerle for loaches

Hi!
I'm starting a new 180L (48G) planted tank and it will be a community tank. There will be kuhli loaches, different shrimps and small schooling fishes. The only problem for me is the substrate. In stores near me are basically two sand-like substrate options:
1) Dennerle Crystal Quartz Gravel (1-2mm) Crystal quartz gravel | Dennerle or
2) JBL Sansibar River (0,8mm) https://www.jbl.de/en/products/detai...sansibar-river

I really like darker substrates and Dennerle has dark options. JBL Sansibar has actually also dark colors but their grain size is too fine for my liking. As I don't have any earlier experience with sand substrate then I think these would be too difficult to clean. Only River-color which is basically natural white is with little bigger grain size with 0,8 mm.
I don't have any earlier experience with sand substrate nor with loaches. Does somebody have any experience with Dennerle Crystal Quartz Gravel? Is it fine enough for loaches (and shrimps)? Would loaches like it or should I find something with finer grain size?
