150 gallon tank

Hi , I'm buying a used 150 gallon tank with beautiful stand-top red oak-my wife likes it... First I think Ill have a problem with getting my hand to the bottom of the tank its 28 inches compared to 21 for a 125 gallon ? Is it possible to put 5 inches of blasting sand on the bottom instead of 3 inches ? Do you think I should sell the 150 and buy a 125 ? thanks.

Should be fine. My 40 easily had 5-6 of blasting sand in the back and I had no issues.

Just a noob
