Does organic dirt need extra nutrients?

I am setting up a new 75g and using an organic dirt substrate. My plan is to put this in a thread in the journal section once I get started. My question is what are your thoughts about adding nutrients to the organic dirt like iron and plant food? I have attached a few pictures of what I am thinking.
