looking for advice

Hello everyone,
I'm looking to start a discus/catfish/dwarf cichlid tank. Its going to be a 75 gallon tank and I was wondering what kind of substrate I should use, I like the idea of darker gravel. I also have seen sand substrate with black rocks and it looks sharp. The plants I had in mind are amazon swords and dwarf hairgrass but I don't think it would be good with the sand, I'm open to all suggestions so please let me know what you think.

I'm a big fan of Flourite black, personally.

On a tank that size I'd do Flourite black and Mineralized Topsoil (see the sticky at the top of this forum), and possibly do just plain sand in the front of the tank for the discus' feeding area to make cleanup easier.
