Anyone had Turface buffer there water higher?

I know most say Turface will suck the GH/ KH out of hte water. Mine is doing the opposite. I use pure RO water no DI unit and get KH- 1 GH 1.5. After testing my tank water after a 75% waterchange a few hours ago I get KH-2 GH-10! Tank is loaded with tons of driftwood and the only thing that I can think would be buffering hte water is the Turface. That has got to be creating some big GH changes on waterchange day as I usually do 75% water changes atleast.

I have not seen this in either SMS or Turface.

I would test that in a series of buckets:

Turface + RO in one bucket
Driftwood + RO in another
Rocks (if there are any in the tank) + RO in another... and so on, until one of everything from the tank is being tested individually.

What fertilizers are you adding? What minerals and anything else?

This didn't happen till after I added the Turface. No rocks in the tank and teh wood never caused it before I swapped substrates. Same with fert just KNO#, KH2PO4, K2SO4, CSM+B. No Minerals added back just plain old RO water.
