Question Would this work for a riparium?

I have some of this stuff on hand and was wondering if I could use it in a riparium?

Oh and also, in replace of hydroton, could I use pea gravel or large aquarium gravel?

I wouldn't sue Pea Gravel or Aquarium gravel in place of Hydroton as teh planters may not be able to support all of the weight. Hydroton is very light weight. Not sure but the stuff you linked to would probably work. I like the Planter Gravel from ripariumsupply.com for capping my planters and fill them 2/3 to 3/4 full of Hydroton and a small cap of the platner gravel. For the substrate in my tnak I use Turface Pro League $10 for 50 lbs.
