Redo!!! 2nd attempt paludarium!

My first attempt didn't go so well, my foam didn't adhere to the glass so I tore it apart and re started!
This time I used only driftwood, rocks and silicone. I coated the driftwood in silicone so that it won't break down or leach tannins. I added a whisper 10i filter to create my waterfall.
Here you go..... Start till now!

Nice start! I would suggest using more rocks on the left of the waterfall to make a gradual slope, would look more natural IMO

Well that's just like.........your opinion man.

Thank you!!
Actually the water will be coming down the front. I didn't want to waste any more space on the side

I just leaned over to my gf and said, "dang, I suck at this," When I saw what you did. Love how you used the driftwood for a shoreline, and the shroud for the in tank. Great job!

Thanks! My first try was with the foam...that didn't work so well. I liked using the silicone much better!

Thanks guys!! Yes a 10 gallon. My BF says I should make more and sell them! Lol
Question, the coco fiber got kind of wet when I overdid the water. Will it dry out a bit? Should I replace it with drier stuff? The plants don't seem to mind yet, but I don't want them to get waterlogged!

Your succulent plant (left most one) might sulk with wet feet, but you have a few days probably. The coir should dry out a bit but the speed expends on how much of it continues to touch the water. Wait a day or so, touch the surface, and if it's still soggy you can mop it up a bit with some paper towel, or the tough blue shop paper towels.

Ok! I figured out my mistake. I put moss on the driftwood to hide silicone. It was in water and then touching the coco fiber. Seems to have acted like a sponge! Whoops

I agree with him. You should sell them. That is an amazing looking tank you have.
