How many watts for emersed?

If I wanted to grow maybe 1-2 anubias nana's emersed, about how many watts would I need?

Hi.
I don't know the size of the container you'll grow them in, but I'd say that what we'd call low-light for tanks with water would be good for tanks without water since no light is lost by entering the water column.

Not very much light is required at all. Anubias can pretty much grow under any condition. You can use a simple desk lamp with one of those spiral compact flourescent bulbs that have a kelvin temperature in the range of 5000 to 10000 (I believe most of them are 6700K).

Humidity is the key for Anubias.

Thanks guys. I do have Anubias growing in a 2L bottle. (Cut off the top and covered with plastic wrap.) It was an extra plant that I couldn't decide on placement in my tank. I also have a little container with some M. Minuta. That was just more of an experiment than anything. Lol

I have 2 desk lamps. Not sure on their Kelvins, but they are 40w each.
