Planting plants in a wall?

How does one do it?

First my paludarium will have insulating foam and styrofoam. Then I am putting cement over that. How do I put plants on the cement wall?

how about building it with little cavities, then rooting your plants in hydroponics net pots, then wedging into wall.

i think that there are some pictures on blackjungle.com of something like this.

Maybe I can let it drain to the tank water. Will that change the water chemistry?

just make sure to use potting soil with no chemical fertilizers and you should be fine.

Or just use a sphagnum as the medium, it won't mess with the water chem.
