found moss out side can I use it

I am wanting to set up a vampire crab vivarium and I found some moss by a tree at my work and it is so green even know its 24 degrees out , should I be able to use it . Not sure what kind it is but its pretty . My worry is being its wild anybody used wild mosses.

The wildness part is probably alright but it might not
do too well in higher temps.
Do an experiment with some to see how it does.

well it grows when its warm to i just happens to be cold now

Yes, you can add it. I've safely collected and added various terrestrial mosses to paludariums.

yep its definitely doable, just be careful of introducing pests along with the moss into your vivarium

I put an unwashed rock in the tank one time and
it must have had earthworm eggs on it,a couple hatched and
to my amazement one of them grew to about 7" and lived
underwater for over a year.
