From pictures I found, the cayo nancy's look way cooler. I'm a fan of dendrobates azureus though ... I want to get some soon. How much did that setup cost you? I want to know what I'm getting myself into.

I'd definately stick to a more social thumbnail species. Pumilio tend not to play nice, although they are gorgeous frogs. Imis are awesome as are the intermedius (in my opinion).

As for plants, the only orchid I've had that I've seen good growth and flowering with in the viv (and don't run $30+ each) are the jewel orchids. For the ground there are small begonias that would look really nice. I was under the impression that Chlorophytum amaniense get pretty large. Also ferns like maidenhair and heart ferns would do well. If you want a bit of height, alocasias are nice too.

Just curious, how out in the open are your intermedius usually? It seems as if my standard imi's are consantly in hiding and spook easy. My only thumnail that I'd consider close to bold are my pumilio, but I do love the intermedius.

But your imi's are gorgeous, who'd you pick them up from, and did you buy them already sexed?

they are very bold, much much much more then my cayo nancys.. i bought them as a proven pair from a friend, who probably got them from understorys. The male is nuts he calls all the time, a few weeks ago he was calling from 4am to about 9am... and my bed is right beside the tank.. so you can only imagin how brutal that was.. i ended up with ear plugs in
