What do you think about starting a Carnivorus plant vivarium pitcher plants, sundews, venus flytraps, butterwarts ect.. and making it home for Mantellas. I think they should be big and strong enough not to get caught in any of the plants various methods of captureing prey. The only ones i worry abotu are the pitcher plants. But i dont know if Mantellas would even try to climb into one.

Just a guess...

Since it is a hole, and frogs like to explore and hide in holes... I would say that they would try. I think that the plants genetically formed to capture bugs though, sticky feet frogs might have enough musk to get in/out without a problem. I think there is even a frog that lives in picture plants. I am looking for that link now.

Some eat frogs, some help keep frogs alive...

I am not sure if these are staged images, I don't think frogs pose!

My conclusion, through reading this stuff is this. If a frog is small enough, has poor gripping/climbing skill, drowns easily, or the plant uses an active capture as opposed to passively captured, then the frog may just be dinner. I would stay away from Dew, Trap Door, and Exotic Venus.
