Prep for new 55 gal tank

Hi all!!
I have a 55 gal freshwater tank that is being cycled right now and I wanted to add some plants once the tank is ready. I wanted some plant towards the back foreground area and on both ends of the tank I wanted to add some tall plant. I have some driftwood and 2 rocks right now. I wanted to add flame moss to the driftwood. Any other ideas you guys may have?
I have sand “Marine sand and the 2 bulbs, each are 8,000 k 15 w.
Would the sand and the bulb output work for the plants?
What plants would you recommend for my tank for the foreground and sides?
I added a picture, I hope you guys can see it.

1) Your tank doesn't have to be cycled for plants to go in. Plants are not hurt by ammonia, nitrite, or nitrate at all. In fact, they like having it.

2) You likely won't be able to get any plants to grow with the stock lighting, and if you do, it'll be extremely slow and probably like 1 or 2 species that are able to stay live in it. You definitely need to upgrade your lighting if you want to go planted.
