I like it a lot! What is the fauna in there? I want to make a vertical vivarium too.

Nice looking viv! Did you make your vert kit or buy it?
I am just getting ready to start a 40 Breeder vert. to house poison dart frogs.

Nothing just yet, but in a few months I plan to add some Vents (a poison dart frog).

I got my broms from NE herpoculture, and this particular one was bought as a package deal so they didn't have it listed. The closest I can find to it is this: http://www.joshsfrogs.com/live-terra...nk-stripe.html

I made it, using this guide http://www.dendroboard.com/forum/car...ical-tank.html

I want to do a 40 Breeder too now!! This one has a twin that I have not fully planted yet and i need to make a few growout tanks eventually, but a 40B is on my backburner of things i would love to do!!

I knew I recognized your name! I dont post much at dendroboard but I lurk there quite a bit. The talent on that site is crazy.
I love the viv...if you have a link to a build thread I would appreciate it!

I didn't do an in depth build thread, but really I didn't do anything too special. Thank you for the compliments!!

Thanks for the link! Good idea on the PVC. It looks like the thread could use some of the new pics. lol
Deciding what type of frog to go with is tough. Vents will be a good choice.
Good luck with the viv...I will watch for updates at dendroboard as well!
Regards,
Nate

That looks great! I did the silicone/Great Stuff method on my first vivarium and so far it's held up for about 2 1/2 years. I recently built another using the clay method--it was messy but I don't think I'll ever go back to GS. My next will be a vertical tank like yours--I like your design!

Watching for updates at Dendroboard too....

65 Gallon planted, 55 Gallon planted, 3 Terrariums; Angels, various Rainbows, Neons, Cory's, Pleco, Ghost shrimp; 3 Azureus PDF's.....

A quick update, I have the twin here. You can also see my 29g planned aquarium at the bottom of the first picture. Notice how the brom at the top turned blood red in the bottom picture compared to the first post...

Very nice, they are so beautiful. Do you know of any broms that get to be only 3in. wide? It would go great in my 5g vertical (no inhabitants)

The first two broms on this page, Wee Willy and Chiquita Linda, are pretty small. I personally have Wee Willy (if you follow the wood in the viv to the right it is mounted highest on it) and it is about 5" wide, maybe 6" tall...
