Crabitat vivarium

Im planning a hermit crab vivarium, and was wondering if people here have tried and seen what works.

I'm looking to set up two 5.5 gal tanks inside a 100gal, which will hold freshwater and saltwater. For tanks they will sit partially sunken in a bed of sand (sand level up to 10",tank will be 4" above sand, and 7" below, so sitting on top of 4" of sand). Crabs will burrow in sand, so to prevent the tank from shifting, I was wondering if anyone has ever done this/added supports under, etc?
