Ball pythons

I am wondering if there is a problem with keeping two in the same cage?

I kept 2 redtailed boas together from just the time they were just a few inches long till they were over 6 feet. They came from the same breeder and were never separated since hatched. There are 2 things that I did that I think helped them live together 1 I NEVER fed them in there main cage. 2 I NEVER fed them together. I had 2 smaller cages that I would feed them in. The entire time I had them I only got struck once in the hand and it was entirely my fault. Don't know if the same would be true with pythons but you can try
