This was started back in February.
The background & hardscape is made up of cork tile, cork flat & rounds along with a few leftover driftwood pieces from other planted tank projects. Substrate is composed of coconut fiber, orchid bark & carbon pellets.
This is then layered w/ monkeypod leaves. The plants are all locally sourced with Neoregelia bromeliads from Olomana Tropicals Nursery & Pleurothallid orchids from Tropical Orchid Farm on Maui. There are also a couple of creeping plants & moss patches that were found on hikes in Manoa Valley.
The tank is lighted using Spectral Designs LED panel, misted using ExoTerra Monsoon Multi & ventilated with a DIY 3x3 axial muffin fan/plenum.
The 1st inhabitant was a auratus tadpole found in Manoa. This individual was allowed to develop into a froglet.
The 2nd inhabitant was a rescued auratus adult that was found in a dry industrial area of the island.
The last inhabitant is a female that was grown out in my other smaller vivarium.
Things are looking good.
