Padularium for the kiddos

My wife has a 10 gallon in her 4K class that's pretty much a terrarium. It has 2 fire-bellied toads and a small bowl of water. They seem happy. I thought they could be happier, plus give the kids something to watch grow and mature. I had an empty 10 gallon with a Stingray light and a stand sitting empty for a couple of years. I decided to build the class a padularium. I had everything but a tube of silicone and some egg crate grid, so I'm around $14 deep in it. Only fauna in it so far are twenty sow bugs. After I give it a week or so of test running, I'll take it to the school. I know the toads will love the water, plus I may plant a seed in one of the kids to one day join our very cool hobby. Video link below.

I got corrected by a fellow co-worker - I have both pillbugs and sowbugs.

Your $14 investment will truly become a long-term asset. Nice job!

Such great example of a paludarium that makes use of a small space super well! I see so many nano paludariums/ripariums that just feel so tiny and disproportionate in water to land ratio.
