Almost ready to start purchasing equipment for rimless riparium build

As the title states I am nearly ready to start purchasing equipment for a new riparium build. I'm a little nervous as I have never built a riparium before. I have however, had many years in the freshwater hobby and have had over 20 years experience in the reefkeeping hobby. I also raise dart frogs so I have experience with vivariums and love keeping orchids so I have an Orchidarium as well.

For the tank I have access to Deep Blue 60 gallon and 80 gallon tanks. I've always loved the look of rimless tanks so I'll probably go with the 80 gallon rimless but am still trying to decide to get the reef ready model or just go with a canister filter. I've always had wet/dry filtration on most of my freshwater setups and have always had sumps on my reef tanks. That said, I am probably going to build a sump of some kind.

For the above water portion of the riparium I am planning on using a DIY HOB refugium similar to the HOB breeders but much larger/longer. I may possibly go with a CPR Aquafuge 2 instead of building my own as well. I also plan on building my own acrylic planter boxes for the above water plants.

I'm currently looking at options for lighting, I'm not really sure what I want to use. I would like to have them hung from the ceiling so I can easily adjust the height but am not sure if I want to go full LED, HO T5, or a hybrid fixture quite yet. I really like the control of LED's so I am leaning towards using them.

I'm not 100% sure on the kind of plants, species of fish, or aquascape style I want to go with quite yet either. I have been heavily inspired by Hitmanx's The Celestial Swamp and plan on using several of it's features into my build.

Looking forward to getting started, the hard part now is deciding what equipment to purchase and hope I make the right decisions!

Any help, guidance, or advice would be greatly appreciated.
