HELP. 30 Gallon Tall.

Picking up a 30 gallon tall tmrw. Super good deal I couldn't pass up and I had a flashback to an old flowerhorn tank I used to have so, why not?

First question is, what else can I do with this tall other than keeping cichlids in it ?

What species do well in a tall environment?

I'm thinking vivarium/paludarium for sure but I don't know what species I want to keep. I'm totally okay with a single specimen.

I'm pretty sure Ive read geckos prefer taller environments but I've heard they're escape artists. I have kids. Loose geckos running around the house might be fun for them, but not me.

What would you guys recommend? Keep in mind I'm NOT a beginner. I've kept and bred cichlids for over 10 years now, I'm well versed in fish keeping.

Also, Are darts frogs really as hard to maintain as I've read?

Any help is appreciated, sorry for all the questions !

Dart frogs are amazing. Read up on darts, as people love to mix colors but you cannot! They're hard because of the food. The only take pin crickets. I suggest if you decide on darts you should get a cricket breeding tank too. Crested geckos are amazing they don't escape as well.

Zoo Med and Exo Terra make screens for standard size tanks, something like this
