Recently set up a tank, not sure how to classify it, but it has the features of a paludarium and a vivarium; I’ve got the base plant stock in, and I’m currently cycling the tank w/grass shrimp and mosquito fish. Any ideas for additional water plants/amphibs/reptiles? Totally cool with a species tank. The filter media is laterite, spagnum, parrots feather and water lettuce, maintained in the waterfall basin.

Looks good dude! No recommendations on what to keep in there, just wanted to pay a compliment. Keep posting as it fills in more!

Very nice, definitely a paludarium. Vampire crabs, firebelly toads or newts would look good in there. You have enough land and a large enough tank that a Mandarin newt would work (that is one I have always wanted to try). With it being that large if you go the reptile route water or crocodile skinks would be cool (might trample plants though). As for fish I always recommend killifish for smaller bodies of water. Plants I would go with smaller plants like anubias nana petite, dwarf sag and crypt parva. If you are using co2 you have more options.

Well that's just like.........your opinion man.

crocodile skinks would be cool but I think they would like more hiding spots. some sort of fish eating snake or lizard could be cool too. it looks absolutely awesome though.
